Friday Friends Feature: Hot Tag Mobile Food

August 28, 2015 Leave a comment

Hot TagDo you like food? Do you like Wrestling? Do you like food trucks? Do you like supporting small business? Do you like Freedom? Do you know anyone who does? If your answer is yes to any of the above questions you should totally check out Hot Tag Mobile Food’s GoFundMe page. They are a small business opening up soon and looking for a little help to get things going smoother. They are even offering some fabulous prizes to go along with donations so its not even like you are donating you are just buying some really cool stuff and food from some awesomely talented folks.

Seriously I watched the movie Chef the other day and I was like how cool is this. Then I remembered these awesome folks are trying to live their dream just like that. Its like Chef meets The Wrestler. How cool is that?

I was reminded of the idea that when one is following their destiny the whole universe conspires to helping you achieve it. Well let’s all do what we can to see that their destiny is achieved. Donate if you can or at least share with others who might be interested in supporting.

Bianca

This weeks Friday Friends Feature is a talented artist I met here in India. She grew up in New Orleans moved back to Kalcutta and now bounces between Pune and Mumbai for gigs. She is a regular couch surfer at my place. Her music is all about that funk and well worth a listen. Check her out:

Friday Friends Feature: Brandes Stoddard

Dakrah's Familiar

This week I will highlight another friend of mine who is a writer, Brandes Stoddard. I am pretty sure I have highlighted his blog on game design before (here is the link if you missed it: http://harbinger-of-doom.blogspot.hk/) but this week I want to show off his book. Brandes is an exceptional storyteller, designer and game master. He has had the misfortune to have had me as a player on more than one occasion because I am that much of a fan of his work and he is a masochist to keep letting me in. Anyway, yesterday was his birthday so check out his book and blog.

You can check out the link below to his site where you can read his blog, catch a sample of his writing and more importantly find links to his books. Hope you enjoy his creative works as much as I have.

I have featured my old company Frima before but today I wanted to highlight one of their teams who are working on their VR game Fated. I got to see a sneak peak demo at GDC this year and it is already looking seriously cool. I know most of the team and they are seriously talented. I can’t wait to see the finished product but while we wait they have a great developers blog. I personally think it is one of the better developer blogs out there and a lot of people should take note when doing this themselves in the future. So go check it out here.
